I just want to know that
Is kinetic energy conserved in Compton effect?
I know that TOTAL ENERGY and MOMENTUM is conserved.

Photon doesn't have classical kinetic energy, E=(p2)/2m.
Photon has energy E=pc, it's also kinetic energy in ultrarelativistic case. so the TOTAL energy of the photon is only kinetic.
