Answer to Question #4795 in Mechanics | Relativity for Krystian

Question #4795
1) How big force do you need to use to make 1 kg body fly up to 50 meters ?

I've already posted that question but i made a mistake there :) I wanted to know force, not power :D
Thanks for fast answer

Dear Krystian
You see, there is one unclear thing in your question. Force should be applied during all flight or should it be impulse? And if last, then there should be time period of force application. Or the force is instantaneous. it's very important because it's all different problems. Please give details so we could help you

In such case the problem gets complicated

So let's tell it's instantaneous, like with a mechanical shock.

Dear Krystian When you throw a stone you apply force and in real life it's not an instantaneous process. Simply speaking, it takes some time to throw a stone (it's a short but finite period of time). So you need either to know a time period of force application and cope with it as with impulse or you should say that force is instantaneous and deal with it as with& mechanical shock.

it's like throwing stone by a human, it's all know.... so i hope its enough
