I would encourage the public relations staff to move toward formal communication in order to achieve a better work-life balance. Various efforts to engage employees through formal communication are vital, but it is more critical to keep personnel refreshed, at the top of their game, and motivated. For example, it's vital to pay special attention to each employee's individual demands and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Employees are the company's most valuable asset, and everything managers do should be done with the goal of providing a better work environment.

From encouraging team members to live a healthy lifestyle to allowing them to spend as much time as they need with their families to offering a flexible telecommuting policy to something as simple as a Summer Friday program, there are many ways to encourage team members to live a healthy lifestyle. All of these things have the potential to make people feel good about themselves and their work. When employees know that they and their work-life requirements are being recognized, the quality of their work and team spirit improves. By treating employees as the company's most valuable asset and ensuring that their contributions are valued, the firm will be able to extract excellence from each person and fulfill the company's vision.
