Partial pressure of gas is equal in mix to pressure which will be put if it occupied the same volume, as all mix of gases, at the same temperature.
The equation connecting the specified volume of the dissolved gas with (partsial) pressure of this gas over solution:
Vg0/Vliq = ap
where Vg0/Vliq – brought to normal conditions (0ᵒC and 1atm) the volume of the gas dissolved in unit of volume (1l) of liquid. The coefficient of proportionality of a received the name of coefficient of absorption of gas in liquid or Bunsen's coefficient.
