The energy of photon can be written as
E = hν/c = hc/ λ, where h -is a Planck constant, c - the speed of the light, ν - the frequency, λ - the wavelength.
(i) E = 6.62 x 10-34 * 3 x 1015 / 3 x 108 = 6.62 x 10-27 J.
(ii) E = 6.62 x 10-34 *3 x 108 /0.5 x 10-10 = 3.972 x 10-15 J.
