1.Entropy change in freezing water decreases that means entropy change less then zero . This does not violate the second law of thermodynamics.

2.Sublimation of dry ice takes in heat so its entropy increases that means its entropy greatter then zero.In this process, the solid ice is converted into water vapors that are the randomness in the system. Hence, the entropy change for the system is positive.

3.sugar spontaneously dissolves in water.total entropy of water and sugar has to increase when sugar dissolves.so entropy change in dissolving water in sugar is gretter than zero.
