Deoxyribonucleic acid and ribonucleic acid carry all cell genetic information. But there are differences in structure and the compound, which makes them different.

So the main difference is structure come from: Length, Sugar, Location, and Base.

Length

Deoxyribonucleic acid is longer than ribonucleic acid. The genome of a DNA contains non-cording and cording arrange on Chromosome.

When you extend the deoxyribonucleic acid cell, it will be about three centimetres long. The qualification to decent it cores in the cell. The packaging of a deoxyribonucleic acid enables you to organize it on chromosomes and encounter inside the cell.

Contrasting to its RNA is shorter than DNA because of its end useful product duplicate from DNA.

Sugar:

deoxyribonucleic acid is made up of deoxyribose sugar while the RNA contains up of ribose sugar.

Sugar in deoxyribonucleic acid lacks one oxygen molecule and transfer hydrogen atom somewhat of a hydroxyl group at carbon two.

contrasting to ribose its an angelic sugar with an oxygen molecule and beside hydroxyl group found in carbon two

Bases:

The base of the two differs by one nitrogenous which is thymine for DNA and uracil for RNA. DNA base structure contains thymine, cytosine, adenine, and guanine while. RNA base structure contains uracil, adenine, guanine, and cytosine.

Deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA) strands joined by three bonds between cytosine and guanine. While inter hydrogen bonds between adenine and thymine.

When ribonucleic acid is binary-grounded, it is joined by inter hydrogen bonds. And three both between either uracil and adenine or guanine and cytosine.

Location:

RNA is synthesized in a cell and move to the cytoplasm and produce protein in the ribosome site. While DNA located at the nucleus of the cell, some of the DNA is present in chloroplast and mitochondria.
