1) what is java..?
Java is a programming language and computing platform, developed in the Sun Microsystems in 1995. The main purposes of it are: concurrent, class-based, object-oriented.
Java main principles :
Easy to Use: Java built on, and improved the ideas of c++, to provide a programming language that was powerful and simple to use.
Reliability: Java needed to reduce the likelihood of fatal errors from programmer mistakes. With this in mind, object-oriented programming was introduced. Once data and its manipulation were packaged together in one place, it increased Java’s robustness.
Secure: Java is probably the most secure programming language to date.
Platform Independent: Java was written to be a portable language that doesn't care about the operating system or the hardware of the computer.

2) difference between database and database management.?
Database is a system intended for easily organizing, storing and retrieving large amounts of data. A database holds a bundle of organized data (typically in digital form) for one or more users. DBMS (Database Management System) is the system to manage digital databases which allows storage of database content, creation/maintenance of data, search and other functionalities. Most popular commercial Database Management Systems are Oracle, DB2 and Microsoft Access.

The database holds the records, fields and cells of data. The DBMS is the tool used to manipulate the data inside the database.
