Microsoft Access is a database management system from Microsoft (part of MS Office suite). There is a graphical front-end for Microsoft relational database engine, named Microsoft Jet Database Engine [1]. There are next major modules of Jet engine: Native Jet ISAM Driver, a dll that can directly manipulate MDB files using ISAM, drivers for ISAM support and DAO dll, that provides an API that allows programmers to access JET databases using any programming language. In later versions, the engine has been extended to run SQL queries, store character data in Unicode format, create database views and allow bi-directional replication with Microsoft SQL Server [2].
