• Functional Dependency
• Multi-valued Dependency
• Fully-Functional Dependency
• Partial Dependency
• Transitive Dependency

It helps to maintain the quality of the data in the database.

Normalization removes the redundancy from the database. It makes the database easier and efficient, due to which the dependencies between the two attribute reduce.
