In the data communication, system delivers the data in the timely manner, if the data deliver late, then there is no use of it. As per the case of the video or audio communication, the data delivery time, and sequence should be in the same manner as they are produced, and it should be delivered without the significant delay.

For example, let us assume that video packets are sent every 3D ms. If some of the packets arrive with 3D-ms delay and others with 4D-ms delay, an uneven quality in the video is the result.
