The actions of piezoelectric transducers are based on the using of direct or inverse piezoelectric effects. The essence of the direct piezoelectric effect is an electric polarization of the certain class of dielectrics, called piezoelectric, by mechanical voltage in theirs crystals. The inverse piezoelectric effect is characterized by electric polarization, causing the mechanical voltage in crystals or the changing of their geometric dimensions.
