Diffraction refers to various phenomena that occur when a wave encounters an obstacle or a slit.

Interference is a phenomenon in which two waves superpose to form a resultant wave of greater, lower, or the same amplitude.

Polarization is a property applying to transverse waves that specifies the geometrical orientation of the oscillations.


All above are about waves. But Reflection of light is corpuscular property because we have some simple geometric rules that are not specific to waves. However, it is either specular (mirror-like) or diffuse (retaining the energy, but losing the image) depending on the nature of the interface.
