Does the gravity of a black hole crush the strings (of string theory) together.
No. It was shown theoretically by Strominger and Vaf, thatmicroscopic components of the black holes can be shown by models of string
theory from Hawkings theory of black hole entropy.
But, unfortunately, noexperiments can give now the answer.
