Hi,May I please ask,does Fnet consist of applied,friction and F parallel force?in the work energy question,they ask us to calculate the displacement up the slope.and the f applied as the given,so they only used friction force and f parallel force to calculate displacement,why didn’t they need applied force?

F parallel force is only the projection of applied force on the direction of motion. Thus, we need it to find net force.
