Centripetal acceleration is the acceleration:
acceleration=force/mass.
The difference between centripetal force and centrifugal force:
Centrifugal Force is the inertia of motion (not real force). Direction: along the radius of the circle, from the center towards the object.
Centripetal Force is the real force that keeps the object from "flying out". Direction: along the radius of the circle, from the object towards the center.
