Question #69247
1. A body moves with a velocity of 2m/s for 5s, then its velocity uniformly increases to 10m/s in next 5s. there after its velocity begins to decrease at a uniform rate until it comes to rest after 5 s.

a) Plot a velocity-time graph for the motion of the body.
b) From the graph find the total distance moved, by the body after 5 s and 10 s.

2. A car moves with a speed of 30 km/h for half an hour, 25 km/h for an hour and 40 km/h for two hours. Calculate the average speed of the car.

3. A train moves with a speed of 30 km/h in the first 15 minutes, with another speed of 40 km/h in the next 15 minutes and then with a speed of 60 km/h in the last 30 minutes. Calculate the average speed of the train for this journey.

4. A motorcyclist drives from A to B with a uniform speed of 30 km/h and returns back with a speed of 20 km/h. Find its average speed.
