Answer to Question #67756 in Physics for david

Question #67756
hi I was wondering the following:

lets say you have an infinite distance. is half of that distance also infinite? and 1/10 of that distance? and 1/1000000000000000 of that distance? and so on and so on.

if this proposition is true then I think it is an easy way that shows the universe cannot be infinite long, just because of the simple fact that we can move through space.

if the distance we moved was infinite long, it would take forever no?
