Moon raise tides but why sun do not raise tides?

The reason is following. The Moon is much closer to Earth, than the Sun. That is why, the difference in
force which it acts with on different part of Earth is much bigger the same for the Sun. It attracts closer side of Earth stronger than more distant one, while Sun acts with almost the same force on them. That is why we have tides from Moon, not from Sun.
