"d_o=12\\:\\rm cm"

"\\frac{h_i}{h_o}=\\frac{d_i}{d_o}"

"h_i=h_o\\frac{d_i}{d_o}=2.4*\\frac{12}{16}=1.9\\:\\rm cm"
