Since, Given, image is inverted,then image has to be real ,thus "v=-32.0cm" , "f=-12.0cm"


By, Mirror formula we get,

"\\frac{1}{f}=\\frac{1}{v}+\\frac{1}{u}\\\\\n\\implies \\frac{1}{-12.0}=\\frac{1}{32.0}+\\frac{1}{u}\\\\\n\\implies u=-19.2cm"
