Since, Given, image is inverted,then image has to be real ,thus $v=-32.0cm$ , $f=-12.0cm$

By, Mirror formula we get,

$$\frac{1}{f}=\frac{1}{v}+\frac{1}{u}\\ \implies \frac{1}{-12.0}=\frac{1}{32.0}+\frac{1}{u}\\ \implies u=-19.2cm$$
