Hi, I am researching to build a heat powered Organic Rankine Cycle turbine driven power generator.
Heat input will operate in the 80-100 deg C range.
All my research shows that with such a low temperature input (and low differencial between hot and cold side), means the maximum theoretical efficiency is less than 10%.
All explanations I have found so far are mathematical and I dont understand them.
Can you please explain to me in laymens terms why max efficiency drops with temperature input?
