volume of CH4 + CO in mixture = 120 ml
volume of CO2 produced = 120 ml
C_4 H_10+(4+10/4) O_2→4CO_2+5H_2 O
n(CO_2 )=4 n(C_4 H_10)
V(CO_2 )=4 V(C_4 H_10 )=0.4∙4∙200=320ml.
Volume of CH4 + CO in mixture is
0.6(200)=120 ml
Volume of CO2 produced is 120 ml.
Total volume of CO_2 is
320 + 120 = 440 ml
Answer: 440 ml.
