In the steady state, the density of the energy flux transmitted by heat conduction is proportional to the temperature gradient:

"\\vec{q}=-k\\vec{\\nabla}T"

Since the temperatures of the water and the ball are the same, the temperature gradient is zero and the heat flux is also zero. So heat transfer will not occur.
