The gravitational constant is maximum at the North and South Pole, minimum at the equator, because the Earth has a flattened form from the poles, the earth radius at the poles is smaller :
g=G·M_Earth/(R_Earth^2 ) and the gravitational constant is maximum at the North and South Pole
