collect 4 springs of same length made of steel,iron,copper and brass.the thickness of wire in all the springs should also be same.first take the steel spring.fix its one end with a rigid stand and fix a hanger towards the other end on which weights can be placed.also fix a scale along its side towards the other end.place a 50g load and measure the extention.
