is tension a vector quantity or a scalar one ?
people say that its a vector quantity because force is envolved in it
then in a case
that two people pull a string from opposite direction
with a force 100 newton each what will be the magnitude of the tension
it should be zero as tension is a vector quantity and forces from opposite direction cancel each other
but infact u can feel tension in the string
