Answer to Question #25262 in Mechanics | Relativity for alick

Question #25262
if i have a motor of a given torqe say 3Nm and it turn a ballscrew of a given pitch say 5mm (so one rev of screw moves the ballscrew 5mm )

how do i work out the force that will be aplide to the ball screw

i was thinking i could preten ther is a 1m lever on the screw witha 3n force at its end then work out the work done in 1 rev and that should be equel to liner work done so

3n 2Pi =.005 Fliner so force on ball screw = 6Pi/.005
