a) Potential energy at a height h assuming datum at the initial point = m*v

=0.5×10=5J= 0.5 × 10 = 5J

b) Initial kinetic energy of the ball =0.5×m×v×v=0.5×0.5×10×10=25J=0.5×m×v×v= 0.5×0.5×10×10 = 25 J
