Answer to Question #18463 in Mechanics | Relativity for Danny

Question #18463
A hyperthetical question I cannot fathom.

On a simple cylindrical bar (number 1) i have a handle that allows me to turn the bar, and on that bar i have a cog with 100 teeth. on bar number 2 i have a cog with 10 teeth, that is slotted against the cog with 100 teeth on bar 1, so when i turn bar 1, bar 2 spins ten times (as gear ratio is 1:10), now if further down on bar 2, i put another cog with 100 teeth that connects to a 10 teethed cog on bar 3, that means bar 3 now spins 100 times what bar 3 does. so my question is, why cant i repeat this 20 times, and have bar 20 spinning 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 (1x10^20) - and put a electromagnet generator on the end so spinning something that generates enormous amounts of energy from doing a simple rotation by hand?
