Derive an expression for the work done when a body is pulled down along the inclined plane with constant speed.
Let α be the incline angle. Then gravitation force projection onto the plane is
F1 = mg/cosα.
The friction force F2 is directed opposite to the F1. The body is moving with constant speed, so the total force is equal to zero:
F1 + F2 = 0.
If so, the work done is equal to zero too.
