Since, on the neutron act nuclear forces. Nuclear forces between nucleons have been called strong interactions. The binding energy of one nucleon in the nucleus is 7 ÷ 8.5 MeV. Electromagnetic interaction provides the binding energy in an atom from several eV to ten eV.
