Hi, I would like to ask how deep a 810 nm diode laser (commonly used for cosmetic and medical applications) penetrate into living human skin? How does the penetration depth depend on the energy (or fluence) of the laser and the diameter of the beam? Is it possible to determine a maximum penetration depth of a 810 nm diode laser?
