Answer to Question #73803 in Electric Circuits for Akash Kumar kheti
If the space between the plates of a capacitor is filled will a dielectric material, does it affect the value of capacitance? Justify your answer.
the capacitance of the capacitor is given from formula C = ɛA/d, where A is area of the capacitor’s plates, d is distance between them and ɛ is permittivity of dielectric material, the capacitor is filled with. So filling the space between plates with a dielectric material does affect the capacitance.
