Answer to Question #20126 in Electric Circuits for John

Question #20126
Three-phase power system
Three balanced three-phase loads are connected in parallel. Load 1 is Y-connected with an impedance of 400+j300 Ohms per phase;[ load 2 is delta-connected with an impedance of 2400-1800j Ohms per phase; and load 3 is 172.8+j2203.2 kVA. The loads are fed from a distribution line with an impedance of 2+j16 Ohm per phase. The magnitude of the line-to-neutral voltage at the end of the line is 24*(SQRT(3)) kV.

1) Calculate the total complex power at the sending end of the line.
2) What percentage of average power at the sending end of the line is delived to the loads?
