When the the input signal of alternating current of 5V applied to the full wave rectifier, then the lower diode which is named as D2, will be in forward bias and diode D1 will be in reverse bias hence positive wave pulse will be obtained on the output.

Now when the positive wave pule will be on the full wave rectifier, then the diode D1 will be in forward bias and diode D2 will be in reverse bias hence again positive signal will be obtain on the output.
