When a balloon sticks to a wall due electrostatic forces between it and the wall why does not it fall down due to weight
As the two electrostatic forces are equal and opposite and net force on balloon is towards wall then how balloon is held on wall

The net force on balloon is not towards wall it is directed opposite to the resultant of two forces: weight of the balloon and normal force on the balloon by the wall. The balloon is not a mathematical point and charges on them can be distributed in such way that net electrostatic force is directed at some angle to the wall.
