Answer to Question #107066 in Classical Mechanics for jay cameron

Question #107066
If you have two high-velocity gyros rotating on the same axis with the same center of mass in opposite directions, what happens to precession when tilted? Will they still have the same stabilizing effects as if they were going in the same direction.

In the high speed rotating gyros, when to the self rotation about the axis, the direction of torque "I\\times \\alpha" (I is the moment of inertia and alpha is the angular acceleration.)will be acting perpendicular to the direction of the rotation of the gyros and the rotation about about about the axis of the gyro, will produce to the torque, that will balance the gravity.

So here weight will be balanced due to the rotation of the system about the axis of rotation and the reaction will be balanced by the gyro due to the rotation of it's own axis. So here all the forces are balanced, hence it will not fall.
