The square of the orbital period of a planet is directly proportional to the cube of the semi-major axis of its orbit.
mrω^2=G mM/r^2 → mr(2π/T)^2=G mM/r^2 → T^2=((4π^2)/GM) r^3 → T^2∝r^3
