Black Hole is an astrophysical object. Gravity of Black hole pulls so much that no fast particles and even light cannot get out. The gravity is so strong because matter has been squeezed into a tiny space. This can happen when a star is dying. Mass of these stars greater 10 Sun's mass. After a black hole has formed, it can continue to grow by absorbing mass from its surroundings.
In many ways a black hole acts like an ideal black body, as it reflects no light. Because no light can get out, we can't see Black holes. The presence of a Black hole can be inferred through its interaction with other matter and with electromagnetic radiation such as visible light. On 11 February 2016, the LIGO collaboration announced the first observation of gravitational waves. These waves were generated from a merger of Black holes. It was the first ever direct detection of a binary merger of Black holes.
