I agree with Paraic. The question is terribly written out. I was struggled at first because I thought $12 was the discounted price. Therefore, it would make the original price $15.

This question format is terribly written out: The solution is as follows: The new promotion is cheese pizza now at 20% off, ($12 x 0.80 = $9.6) There has been an increase of sales of 12% with new promotion, Original offer was $12 at sales of 250 per day, (12 x 250 = $3000) With new promo, 9.6 * (250 x 1.18) = $2832 Answer, Decrease in sales by $168
