Answer to Question #31659 in Statistics and Probability for Vlatko

Question #31659
Hello. I have a couple two problems to ask. I'm going to like/share or do whatever I have to do for an answer.

1. 1.1. I deal myself 3 cards for a standard 52-card deck. Find the probabilities of the event 3 cards of 3 of the same suit (e.g., 3 hearts or 3 clubs), when I deal the cards:
(i) without replacement;
(ii) with replacement.

2. 1.2 A woman invites 6 of 10 close friends to dinner. If two of the friends are married to each other and will not attend separately what is the probability that the couple will attend at the dinner.

Thank You!
