Breadth = 15 inch

Height = 15 inch

Part A) When she wants to create a box with the open top

In this situation we will calculate the entire wood required apart from the the wood required for making the top

Therefore, Base = 18x15 , Side panels = 15x15, and 18x15

Total wood required = 18x15+2x(15x15)+2x(18x15)= 1260 inch2

Part B) Now we add the area of top to this area so we get

1260+18x15= 1530 inch2
