No, it isn't.
In mathematics, a polynomial is an expression of finite length constructed from variables (also known as indeterminates) and constants, using only the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and non-negative integer exponents.& For example, x^2+x-1 is a polynomial. 1/(x^2)+1 is not, because w ehave here negative exponent of variable x.
