I have a pre-algebra question. Last year Xian reported an income of $27,500 on her tax return. Of that, she paid $6,600 in taxes. What percent of her income went to taxes? I am having trouble solving this, can u help me?

To count percentage of taxes we need to divide taxes amont by income value and multiply it by 100%:
($6,600/$27,500)*100% = 24%.
