A competent teacher combines theoretical knowledge of the subject with an understanding of the possibilities of its practical application and is able to apply this knowledge. He sees in real practice examples that are able to illustrate students' knowledge of the subject. Knowledge of the subject is a necessary but insufficient condition for good teaching. The real problem is that sometimes a teacher, knowing his subject well, is not able to effectively organize the learning process. Competence in the subject implies not only the teacher's fluency in factual information, but also knowledge of basic scientific concepts, principles, connections, research methods and unsolved problems. Teachers who are proficient in their subject, know what issues may interest students, strive to achieve a deep understanding, inform students about "black holes" in this field of knowledge.

Children see in such a teacher a rich source of information on this subject. Also, a teacher can sometimes "hide" information in order to intrigue children and stimulate their independent search. When students are involved in a "scientific dispute", the teacher demonstrates to them the importance of perceiving the subject as a holistic education with an internal structure and connections.

The competence of a teacher in the subject of teaching reflects the level of proficiency in the educational material on the subject and in the teacher's expert list this indicator can be assessed based on the following criteria:

I .     Knows the subject well

 - The teacher demonstrates knowledge of the subject being taught during the writing of the abstract.

II.  The work program on the subject is built taking into account interdisciplinary connections.

- The teacher sees and reveals the connection of his subject with other subjects of the school curriculum, the connection of theoretical knowledge with practical activities in which they are used.

III.  When preparing for lessons, he uses additional materials on the subject.

- The teacher is well-versed in various sources (textbooks, teaching and methodological manuals, media manuals, modern digital educational resources, etc.) on the subject being taught, can give links to suitable sources.

IV.    In the process of forming new knowledge, it relies on the knowledge of students that they received earlier.

- When presenting the main material on the subject in a written work, the teacher reveals the connection of the new topic with previous and future topics on the subject being taught.

V. Achieves high results in the subject taught.

- The teacher presents the material in a form accessible to students in accordance with didactic principles.

I want to give some examples of how we try to explain the material in an accessible way in lessons on various subjects.

In conclusion, I would like to quote the words of Henry Ford: "Everything can be done better than it has been done so far!" We know a lot, we know, now we need to learn how to design it all beautifully, explain the material in a form accessible to students in accordance with didactic principles, scientifically present our achievements! Knowing the requirements – you can arrange everything correctly!
