Standard algorithms differ from student-invented strategies because a standard algorithm or method is specific method of computation , which is conventionally tough for solving particular mathematical problems and student .Invented strategies are the strategies that are different from

standard algorithms that does not involve the use of physical material or counting by ones .These are invented by students , it means it's are self created by students . These commonly become mental strategies over time after they being tried repeatedly the students also create this strategy for own learning and for there own welfare for making money .

The benefits of invented strategies over standard algorithms -

1) It creates a sense of confidence in there ability to learn maths and build there sense and reasoning because students create this strategy by there own that's why it is very useful for students and a student use basic skills for understanding this so it's become for learner to understand the concepts easily.

2)In standard algorithms student often can't explain why it's works but in student strategies student develop number sense, estimation , mental computation .
