The U.S. Customs and Boarder Protection (CBP) is a federal law enforcement agency and it is the country’s border patrol agency. The Agency is in charge of regulation of international trade, collection of import duties, enforcing regulations on customs, and immigration. I think CBP is important because it protects the U.S. from attack by detecting and preventing terrorists and weapons from entering the U.S. It also plays a role in preventing illegal human trafficking and decreases the number of migrants crossing the border illegally. But it poses a great danger to people who work as boarder patrol because there can be an attack at any time.
