'buntu ngumuntu ngabantu' is written in the Zulu language of Africa that means 'I am because of who we all are'.In the Criminal Justice system, every victim should be treated with values of humanities such as respect, care, compassion, love, solidarity, sharing, reconciliation, and reciprocity.
• When criminal or victim is treated with such values of Ubuntu, it has been said that they had ensured justice to humanity of the world
• Some of the compelling points in favor of Ubuntu had to do with Ubuntu's broader definition of fairness. Justice is, by nature, a fairness on the part of the victim and a pain to the perpetrator. At the other hand, Ubuntu is the philosophy of harmony between all that is humanly good & reasonable to a overwhelming "majority of the community" & people.
• Throughout the sense, Ubuntu has become a vital part of the principles & values of the Constitution that guide the "interpretations" of the "Bill of Rights" & other legal areas. In specific, the case law comprising eviction, customary law, criminal law, and defamation has become obvious on the subject of restorative justice
