One of the most challenging difficulties of criminal investigation were detecting repeat offenders. The linking of offenses committed by the same perpetrator would improve the efficacy and safety of police officers. Previous studies on crime correlation focused on the criminal features of modus operandi (M.O.) but did not address the crime process. In this article, we have proposed a method for detecting repeat robberies by integrating criminal intelligence based on M.O. criminals. To derive the behavior and object characteristics of the crime process, a complex time warping technique identical to these characteristics was adopted, and a knowledge entropy approach was used to weigh the similarity of action and object characteristics in order to produce a full, similar method. After adding information about the crime process, a real-world robbery dataset is used to measure the success of the serial crime finding. According to the conclusions, the content from the case narrative text pertaining to the criminal process is considerably distinct and better suited to characterizing the offender's MO. Five machine learning algorithms are used to differentiate case pairs and classify serial cases and non-serial cases. Based on the features of the situation, the results show that including further information on the crime process would have a substantial effect on understanding serial criminals.
